Booking and Payment
1. Upon accepting our quote (verbally, text, email or by other means), we deem that you have read, fully understand, accept and agree with all our terms and conditions.
2. All quotes are submitted based on the floor being in the same or similar condition as the visible floor area when quote was provided or as per information supplied by you, the customer. Any variations from the above may incur additional charges. The customer agrees to meet this additional cost which will be disclosed to you before any additional work is undertaken.
3. A deposit payment is required at the time of booking to secure a date.
4. Deposit payments are non-refundable. Dates may be changed; however less than 48 hours email or text notification may result in a rescheduling fee.
5. Deposit payments and final payment is payable by cash or Internet Banking.
6. Final payment is due and expected on invoice/day of completion. Outstanding accounts over 5 days will incur a 10% penalty fee unless prior arrangement is made. All costs incurred in the collection of overdue accounts are payable by the debtor. All supplies and materials used in the service remain the property of Mr Sandless until full payment has been received.
Sandless Refinishing
1. The customer acknowledges that the Mr Sandless trademark sandless process is a specialised Green certified refinishing service.
2. The service may be restricted in attaining a perfect result due to any pre-existing conditions present in the floor. We endeavor to do the best job we possibly can with the conditions we are given to work with, work in and work around.

In Preparation for your Floor Service
1. For best results ensure all other tradesmen have completed their work or are away from the floor area before the floor service begins. Carpentry, electrical, plastering, plumbing and glazing must be completed before work on the floor can start. We require full use of the floor area and cannot risk footprints being left in our coating by careless tradesmen.
2. To comply with Asbestos Health and Safety law and Work Safe Approved Code of Practice, vinyl/lino floor coverings including the mastic, glue or adhesive used to fix the floor covering must have an Asbestos test completed in order to ascertain the presence of Asbestos. The testing and removal (if required) of asbestos must be carried out by a suitably qualified tradesman. Mr Sandless and it’s Directors, Shareholders, Employees and Sub-Contractors cannot be held liable for any asbestos related damage or incident to persons or property.
3. We require an electrical supply of 240v in ready supply. The customer acknowledges that the wiring and fuses in the service area are of this standard to run our equipment without the risk of electrical shorts or blown fuses and agrees not to hold Mr Sandless liable for electrical faults during and/or after the floor preparation.
Day of your Floor Service
1. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure rooms are completely empty before we arrive. All furniture, appliances and/or any debris is to be removed, together with all floor coverings including staples, tacks, smooth edge etc. Failure to have items moved may incur a waiting charge or, if rescheduling of the job is required, a fee will apply.
2. We require clear and safe access to the site with significant parking available.
3. Switch off all central heating, underfloor heating and/or air conditioning units. These are not to be turn on again until the floor service is complete and the floor coating is completely dry.
4. Gas pilot lights including hot water systems are out. Gas and electrical appliances are to be disconnected by qualified personnel and removed.
Dustless Refinishing
1. The Mr Sandless Dustless Refinishing service requires the removal of whiteware and/or porcelain bathroom fittings prior to commencement of the floor service. Whilst all care is taken, if they are left in place, Mr Sandless will not be held liable for any damage that may occur during the floor service.
2. We may not be able to remove deep cuts and gouges. Removal will depend on how deep the cut or gouge is.
3. We may not be able to remove stains from within the boards and around nail holes such as animal urine and water marks, residue from glue and the backing of carpet underlay.
4. The Mr Sandless Dustless Refinishing service utilizes the efficiency of M-Class dust extraction.
